Paper Pumpkin --- July 2018

The July Paper Pumpkin kit was a surprise.  We had several hints of what it would be.  I love the colors and there was so much in the kit that I was able to make 26 alternative cards and still have paper.

Don't forget, there is a special this month that ends on August 10, 2018.  The kit will be half off for the first month.  Sign Up at Paper Pumpkin.  Use the code BLOOM0818.

Here are a few of the samples I made for July.

Workshop Projects, June 26

I created a card/scrapbook page for my last workshop using the Love You Lots stamp set.  I first created the card and placed it on my scrapbook page.  The stand alone card came second and was a little bit of a morph of the original card on the page.  It was fun deciding what to do.

I hope you enjoy both.

June 26, Workshop Projects

The following are cards made at Rhonda Kratzer's workshop in June.  The cards were a lot of fun to make and I love both stamp sets.

If you would like to join in the fun next time, Helen Broussard will be hosting a workshop at St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Orange on Sunday, July 26, beginning at 1:30 p.m.

Contact me for more information.

The card below was stamped with Crumb Cake ink and then water colored on Shimmery White card stock.  The white and Dapper Denim layer was popped up.  I used pearls in the centers of the flowers.  The flowers, of course, were punched with the coordinating punch, Blossom Bunch Punch.

"Love You Lots"

I love the hostess set Love You Lots.  I experimented with some different mediums and techniques.  I used watercolor on the frog card You're the Best. I used the Fine Tip Glue Pin for the eyes.

I used color pencils on the elephant card, stamping it first with Archival Black Ink.

The hedge hog card was created by stamping the hedge hogs first then masking the sun. I used watercolor to create the sky and and ground.  The hedge hogs were color with colored pencils.  I then sponged the sun and painted blue across the sun.

I used one of my favorite new background stamps, Playful Backgrounds.  The frog was colored using colored pencils.

I used the Playful Background stamp set again.  It is hard to see, but the lady bugs have been painted with the Fine Tip Glue Pin.

This is such a fun set.  I loved creating these cards
