Blush Blossom Marker - - No Flesh Tone
I have an old Blush Blossom marker and that is what I use when I water color stamped images and need a light flesh tone. This marker is no longer available, so what do you do? I experimented with several colors, but this was my best combination for a light flesh tone. I used Pink Pirquette as the base and added Crumb Cake and Crushed Curry. Pull in more of the pink than the other two colors. Blend until you get the right mix.
If you are going for a darker flesh tone, start with the Pink Pirquette and pull in a little red and a darker brown as well as the crumb cake. Just a touch of Early Espresso and Cajun Craze should get you the deeper color that you need. Use the same yellow, Crushed Curry for the yellow undertones. Just keep blending until you get the right mix.
Hope this helps with the flesh color water coloring dilemma.

Blendabilities -- Dry
I just tried something that worked. My lightest Crumb Cake Blendabilities marker was getting dry, but the other two in the set were fine. I thought I might try adding a small amount of alcohol to be reservoir/barrel and it worked. It is coloring just fine.
Gently pull the felt nib from the barrel and use a dropper or if you are really steady pour a small amount in the barrel, not much. I added alcohol to both sides. Try this before you invest in another set if your markers start getting dry. It was a good fix.

Santa & Co.
Just a few more cards that I made using the Santa & Co. designer paper. This card was made using the bottom section printed with the snowmen. The Joy to the World stamp set is retired. It was in the Holiday 2013 catalog. The colors of the card stock are Real Red, Basic Black, and the ribbon is the new 1" Cherry Cobbler Sheer Linen Ribbon in the Holiday catalog. I love this ribbon it is so easy to work with and use.

Project Life Card
Project Life is a wonderful tool for keeping up with all of life's special events but the kits are great embellishments for cards. It is easy to use the different components of the kits to make quick cards for all occasions.
Check it out --- I used Seasonal Snapshot Project Life Kit to make this card. So easy.
