A Recipe by Esther Pace, Debbie Taylor's Grandmother
Vanilla Wafer Cake
1 1/2 sticks oleo (I used butter & margarine)
2 cups sugar
6 eggs
12 oz. vanilla wafers, crushed
1/2 to 3/4 cup milk ( I used almost 3/4 c.)
1 can angel flake coconut
1/2 c. pecans ( I used about 3/4 c.)
Cream sugar & oleo together. Add eggs one at a time. Beat well. Add remaining ingredients. Bake at 300 for 1 1/2 hrs.

ReplyDeleteShe made it in a bundt pan and sprinkled with powdered sugar. It was very moist. I absolutely loved it.
